Gorilla Implements Sitecore CMS for Sealy’s Website Re-Launch

Chicago, IL (April 2010) Gorilla, a full-service, award-winning ecommerce agency, has announced the successful completion of all web development work related to the re-launch of Sealy Incorporated’s flagship website, sealy.com.  Providing creative design consulting, technical discovery and complete Sitecore® CMS integration, Gorilla played an integral role in the on-time, on-budget launch of the new sealy.com website in partnership with Cramer-Krasselt who handled strategy and design.

Through an in-depth technical discovery process, Gorilla evaluated numerous CMS platforms before choosing Sitecore and all related 3rd party tools.  For Sealy’s specific needs, Gorilla determined that Sitecore offered the most flexible, dynamic platform for creating a full-featured site that is easy to maintain, maximizes SEO and offers nearly limitless scalability.

As a new Sitecore Partner, Gorilla fully implemented Sitecore and all related tools.  Through careful project management and quality assurance, Gorilla was able to complete an error-free implementation that contributed to the on-time launch of sealy.com while remaining within the project budget. 


The result of intensive customer research, Sealy’s new website streamlines the shopping process for consumers, flattens the product learning curve and better aligns the online and offline customer experience.  It also provides a central repository of information for Sealy’s 3000 retail partners and positions the company to capture organic growth through the online channel.
