Gorilla Launches Clad on Magento Enterprise

For too long, stylish men’s clothing has been relegated to 2nd class status in the world of online retailing. Good thing we just launched Clad (www.cladmen.com), a refreshing blend commerce and content that represents a new concept in men’s fashion. For the project to create their ecommerce channel, Gorilla assisted with website design and site architecture, as well as performing all frontend and backend development on the Magento Enterprise platform. Add elements like integrating the site with an array of business critical systems and creating a customized group configurable products module to power the head-to-toe “Looks” section, and Clad is strictly 1st class among apparel sites.

Clad is the result of a partnership between Hearst Magazine’s Esquire and JC Penny Inc.’s Growth Brands Division. Beyond their catalog of sophisticated, hand-picked men’s apparel, shoes and accessories, deep WordPress integrations add authoritative style-focused content from Esquire in the form of the site’s Damn Good Advice section. This also powers features like the quarterly Clad Report, where Esquire editors provide commentary to accompany seasonal clothing collections from Clad’s deep product catalog.

If you’re a man of style, be sure to check out the Clad site. If you’re not, check out the Clad site, or at least view our case study.
