130 years of artistry and innovation in design has led the Movado brand to become synonymous with luxury, quality and enduring style. Knowing that the time was right to create a richer brand and shopping experience for their customers, Movado tasked Gorilla to functionally enhance their existing Magento implementation to ultimately broaden their appeal to a more youthful, style-conscious audience.

With the desire to make improvements to accentuate existing design elements, Gorilla implemented design tweaks across the homepage and category landing pages. This also included implementing custom styling for site navigation and resizing assets across the site to make it more suitable for viewing on smartphones and tablets. “Find a Watch” navigation was added, making it easier for customers to locate specific watches by product attributes. Ratings & Reviews provide the addition of user-generated content. Gorilla also created a custom Magento module to enable customers to add products to the shopping bag, wishlist or compare items list without being redirected to a new page via a screen refresh. This creates a more interactive and seamless experience for the user.  This multiphase project will continue to enhance the Movado site with new features and functionality worthy of one of the most famed names in watchmaking.
