It’s been quite a run. Yesterday, Gorilla was honored at the 2018 Inner City 100 Awards, during the 20th anniversary of the prestigious event. Gorilla ranked #41 on this year’s list. This marks the 6th time since 2012 that we’ve been honored by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City. Sadly, it will be our last, as our recent acquisition by Wunderman makes us ineligible for future competitions. It’s been an honor being involved with such a dynamic organization, participating in their executive education curriculum, and meeting business leaders from around the country over the years.
More about ICIC: Founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter, the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City is a national nonprofit research and advisory organization and the leading authority on U.S. inner city economies and the businesses that thrive there.
