Gorilla Creative Leaders Selected As Webby Award Judges

We are excited to announce that 2 members of our Experience team – Executive Creative Director Matt Collins and Creative Director Kaila Christoff – have been selected as Webby Awards judges and have been granted membership to The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), also known simply as The Academy, is the international organization behind the world-renowned Webby Awards and Lovie Awards. The Academy’s mission is to help drive the creative, technical & professional progress of the Internet and evolving forms of digital media.

Membership in the IADAS is by invitation-only, and the approximately 2000 individuals who make up its rolls are selected based on the merits of their contributions to advancing the electronic medium. Its eclectic and diverse membership includes the likes of Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, Refinery29 co-founder Piera Gelardi, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and “father of the Internet” Vint Cerf.

Over two-plus decades, The Webby Awards have grown to become the gold standard for recognizing creative excellence and innovation in the digital space. Over the years, we’ve been honored to have received 7 Webby nominations for our creative work with clients including Snake River Farms, Shure, and Mercedes-Benz Canada.

Matt and Kaila will be official judges for the 2020 Webby Awards, where they will help select the next class of digital leaders, with a particular focus on distinction in ecommerce. The experience they gain in this capacity will directly benefit the ambitious brands that partner with us to create differentiated, growth-enabled digital experiences.
