We have contributed to our parent company’s report Peak Selling and The Pandemic, focusing on what retailers, brands, and marketplaces must consider as we head towards peak 2021, based on consumer surveys in the US, UK, and China.

Following one of the worst retail periods, 2020 witnessed a new retail phenomenon. The global pandemic is shaping new peak retail periods, like the 10-week online mega-peak that happened in Q4 of 2020. We set out to discover how shopping habits are changing across the UK, US, and China, and how retailers can use this information to thrive during Peak 2021.

Consumers don’t think in terms of channels. So, in an omnichannel environment, brands need to participate and deliver exceptional commerce experiences wherever their customers shop. This extends across marketplaces, retailers, social, and the brand’s owned ecommerce channels.
