Challenge

An emerging brand in the highly competitive women’s footwear industry, Michael Antonio produces stylish, provocatively-designed shoes that are both fashionable and affordable. Needing a refreshed digital brand presence to target consumers and retail partners, Michael Antonio partnered with us to help the chic-fashion retailer put their best foot forward.

Approach

To get there, we implemented a total site redesign and re-platform on Magento geared to elevate the Michael Antonio brand across channels. Subtly edgy and undeniably feminine, yet clean and product-focused, the new site design artfully showcases the brand’s three distinct product lines to the youthful, fashion and value-conscious women who are the brand’s target audience.

To deepen the brand experience, Lookbook functionality was added to provide a catalog-like interaction with Michael Antonio’s seasonal collections. A “Press” section, which was designed to be easily maintained on the back-end post-launch, was implemented to allow Michael Antonio to keep pace with the ongoing media coverage they receive. To maintain continuity with their online channel partners, we added custom attributes at the product level that provide direct links to designated online retailers who can immediately fulfill the customer’s order.
