A decades-long commitment to designing superior quality products and an obsession with continual innovation has made Shure among the most trusted and respected audio brands in the world. Shure called on Gorilla to develop a sound content strategy plan to consolidate 4 separate content sources into a single hub for company news, expert instructional information, and field reports from their artist relations team.

Approach

After initial discovery with Shure, our Content Strategy team meticulously cataloged each content type, including text, images, videos, and podcasts, and created a master document that identified content redundancies and later served to guide the design, development and content migration phases. Using WordPress as the underlying content management platform, we then implemented a rethought blog structure, with a newly designed interface and added functionality. This created a look and style that was reflective of the Shure brand, while giving the site its own unique identity. It also created a single home for these diverse content sets, within a framework that was still easily accessible to Shure’s distinct target audiences.
