Challenge

Tru Fragrance is a leading fragrance and cosmetics company that specializes in custom fragrance development, manufacturing, and merchandising. Sensing a need for an ecommerce solution to better represent their wide variety of fragrance brands and products, Tru Fragrance partnered with Gorilla to create a truly unique shopping experience.

Approach

We launched a fully developed and redesigned ecommerce site on the Magento Enterprise platform. In addition to a brand-centric site design favoring a soothing color palette, we took the user interface to another level with a custom fragrance selector that simplifies product discovery. To power the backend of the business, we integrated Netsuite with a Celigo cloud solution tied to the Magento implementation. The site was further enhanced to enable multi-address checkout, a customer rewards program, unique product promotions, and integration with the client’s email marketing system. In addition to the full ecommerce site, we developed a separate, Interactive Media Award-winning WordPress microsite for a new, locally-grown perfume, Tru Blooms, developed by Tru Fragrance.
