The Opportunity

Launching and establishing the first digital presence for Sylvamo that serves as both a marketing tool and a portal for their 19 brands of paper worldwide.

Sylvamo — which translates to love of forests in Latin — is a spinoff of International Paper’s global papers business. They offer a wide range of paper products with the goal of producing paper in a responsible and sustainable way. Sylvamo needed a trusted partner to assist them in not only establishing their new brand but also launching their first digital presence.

We were able to provide Sylvamo guidance throughout the CMS selection process which ultimately led to the decision of launching the site on Bloomreach. Under an accelerated 3 month timeline, we launched Sylvamo on Bloomreach Experience Manager — with further plans to expand capabilities to include search and merchandising as well as personalization.

Along with the launch, we worked closely with their other selected agency on the Sylvamo branding to ensure consistency. This meant helping with content creation, website copy, brand imagery, fonts, and overall color palette to ensure a strong digital presence.
THE RESULTS
After a very successful launch, Sylvamo continues to partner with Gorilla as their go-to partner to further assist with platform integrations and creative work.
