Implement a B2B ecommerce channel to effectively span two brands owned by one of the largest commercial metal products manufacturers in the industry.
One of the largest North American manufacturers of metal products for the non-residential building industry sought to implement a B2B ecommerce channel for two of its brands. We partnered with the manufacturer on a phased approach, launching one site and then the other.
Capitalizing on Hybris’ quick-to-market framework, we helped integrate the company’s ERP with SAP Hybris Cloud. And to increase customer adoption and help onboard new users, we built robust educational and guided content resources leveraging Hybris’ Assisted Service Module.
Elevating the B2B2C experience was also key to the project. By enabling more admin capabilities, users can now customize their storefront and support purchases made directly through their branded store view rather than having to send users to the manufacturer’s parent website.
Post-acquisition, we focused on improving performance and efficiency. Our Support and Growth team worked on reducing log-in time, refining the dashboard experience, adding product attributes, improving Add to Cart functionality, and delivering a full Hybris-Oracle ERP update.
