Challenge

Ebel, a division of Movado Group, has designed and manufactured luxury Swiss watches for over a century. When the time came to revamp their ecommerce channel to cater to their global audience, Ebel partnered with Gorilla to implement an enhanced site, featuring three storefronts on the Magento Enterprise platform.

Approach

We enhanced existing functionality within three storefronts in English, French, and German to support localization for language and currency, within a single Magento instance. We worked with existing creative assets to implement a Magento-compatible design that’s worthy of Ebel’s luxury brand status. A “find a retailer” store locator was added to promote multi-channel engagement with their brick-and-mortar partners, giving it a side-by-side treatment with direct-to-consumer e-commerce functionality. This marks the 3rd site Gorilla has re-launched for Movado Group, during our ongoing relationship.
